Admission process
There are two pedagogical approaches to admission: Adult Continuing education and correspondence courses .
Admittance Requirements
- Holder of at least a two-year college diploma and references from three years practical experience in France
- Pass written and oral tests which are held in two stages. It is strongly advised to prepare for these tests which are of school-leavers level
- Holders of a four-year college diploma need not pass the tests
- The panel can give credit for courses in certain fields for which the applicant has successfully argued
Admission test
Managed for the Fésia by ESA in Angers.
First phase
- Oral presentation skills
- Technical skills (either: management, agronomy, zootechnics, agri-food processes)
- Tests for science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology etc.
Second Phase
- Written tests (English, retakes of unsatisfactory first phase tests)
- Two interviews in front of a panel regarding the applicant's activities and skills
Dates for continuing education enrolment
1th session :
- 1th phase - written tests : 3rd and 4th april 2006
- 2nd phase - interview : 29th and 30th mai 2006
2e session :
- 1th phase - written tests : 4th and 5thseptember 2006
- 2nd phase - interview : 16th and 17th october 2006
Dates for distance learning application
- The year will start on 4 th December 2006
- The course will end in June 2008
- There will be a 9 week training session (one every two months)
- 4 sessions in 2005-2006 and 5 in 2006-2007
